It’s been an incredibly busy few months here at Qureight as we focus on growing our team, expanding our partnerships and evolving our product. Here’s a look at everything we’ve been up to this summer and what’s on the cards for the rest of the month.
Product updates
The Qureight team has been hard at work on our product strategy over the past few months. This includes streamlining user interfaces, optimising backend processes, and strengthening security measures. Our goal is to ensure that our software not only meets the needs of our current partners but also exceeds their expectations.
Qureight has become a member of the Open Source Imaging Consortium (OSIC)! We are joining nearly 50 other organisations, and hundreds of individuals, united by a mission to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ILD fibrosing lung disease research.
Membership of OSIC provides Qureight with access to the Global OSIC Cloud Data Repository: the world’s largest and most diverse global data repository for ILD. This will enable us to improve and validate our existing IPF platform offering and to accelerate our expansion into additional types of interstitial lung disease.
This milestone strengthens our commitment to improving diagnosis and treatment outcomes for ILD patients. Find out more about OSIC and our membership here.

Reflections from our annual team retreat
In June, the whole team swapped Cambridge for the picturesque hills of Malaga,Spain, where we held our company retreat.
This focused time together was a chance for us to get to know our new team members, reflect on the successes of 2024 and plan for an even more successful second half of the year.
When we weren’t busy setting goals and updating our company values, we went hiking, shared meals, visited waterfalls and soaked up some much-needed sun.
August and September Events
Qureight is currently at the 8th IPF Summit in Boston, where our new CSO Simon Walsh is delivering a session titled ‘Imaging biomarker development in fibrotic lung disease; applying deep learning to unsolved problems’. Qureight will be at the OSIC Annual Member Meeting in Vienna this September! If you’ll be attending, get in touch with us via email or LinkedIn to arrange to catch up over coffee.
Excitingly, we have our very first, in-person event on the 17th of September on AI technology - and its role in drug discovery - is a subject that fascinates the Qureight team. It's something we're discussing and debating on a daily basis as we drive forward innovation in this sector. Tickets have already sold out but join the waiting list and you’ll be first to know if there’s any extra up for grabs!
