Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

To steward the company's financial resources to deliver sustainable growth, investment in the Qureight Platform and the delivery of commercial contracts. Provide financial leadership to Qureight and it’s key stakeholders. Take responsibility for the strategic and operational delivery & development of the Finance function, and the enablement and delivery of the Company Growth Strategy. Organise and lead on fundraising and company secretarial duties. Support the CEO in managing Investor relationships, ongoing compliance with Company law, and protecting the company’s ongoing financial viability and independence

Accountabilities summary:

●      Financial strategy formulation and execution.

●      Budgeting and financial forecasting.

●      Balancing investment in innovation alongside the core platform technologies.

●      Financial, Tax & Company Law compliance.

●      Reporting financial results and insights to the board and stakeholders.

●      Ensuring financial viability of product offerings.

Financial Strategy:

●      Collaborate with Qureight’s CEO to establish and accomplish organisational goals, objectives and strategic plans, exploring growth opportunities and identifying key risks and success factors.

●      Work with Executive Team colleagues & leaders across the organisation to develop long-range strategic plans aligned with annual financial objectives.

●      Ensure commercial value creation in existing and new markets through business model optimisation.

●      Ensure capital efficiency across Qureight’s operations.

Cultivating a High-Performance Finance Team:

●      Be accountable for ensuring that internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with UK, US GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

●      Lead and coach the Finance Team members, internalising those capabilities as necessary, ensuring their continuous development and matching their skills and capabilities to the requirements of Qureight.

●      Develop a strategy for growing and maturing the finance function to ensure it supports the scaling and vision of the business.

Stakeholder engagement:

●      Work with Board to ensure the company is achieving the aims of the shareholders.

●      Report Qureight‘s financial performance, forecasts and aspiration to the Executive team and the Board of Directors. Use the financial performance and forecasts as a mechanism to align and galvanise the organisation around the Company’s growth Strategy.

●      Manage external accountants & auditors.

●      Communicate financial performance, risks, opportunities, and drivers of forecast variances in an insightful way to facilitate timely and proactive decision-making.

Prepare the business for further equity financing

●      Work with the CEO, and finance advisors to maximise Qureight’s enterprise value.

●      Manage key relationships with investors and related stakeholders to enable the successful delivery of future Series B,C,D fundraises, as required by the Company..

●      Maintain the business’ financial forecasts, aligned with the Growth Strategy.

●      Maintain SaaS metric/KPI/market profitability reporting.

Organisational Leadership:

●      Act as a key member of the senior leadership / Executive team, offering valuable experience and perspectives.

●      Build high levels of trust within the senior leadership / Executive team, Product Development teams, and across the wider organisation.

●      Collaborate closely with the CEO to align and realise the company vision.

●      Drive organisational alignment and growth through effective leadership and collaboration.

Working Capital Management:

●      Manage the working capital, to optimise the return on Qureight’s surplus liquidity alongside the smooth operational delivery of the business and Growth Strategy.

●      Set, monitor and enforce accounts payable and receivable policy.

●      Maintain, monitor and refine cashflow forecasts to support (short, medium and long- term) capital planning.

Experience:

●      Proven experience as CFO or Finance Director, working at Executive / Board level.

●      In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

●      Strong data analysis and forecasting methods, using FPA&A software or Excel/Sheets.

●      Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Xero, Sage, SAP)

●      Strong leadership and organisational skills

●      Proven record at developing finance teams and finance professionals.

●      Proven experience at managing equity fundraising rounds.

●      Working within technology start/scale-ups: high-growth, working-capital focussed, continuous development and delivery of finance strategy, growth strategy execution, internal governance and change management.

●      Management of equity-based enterprise incentive schemes for employees and advisors (e.g. EMI, Non-EMI, Growth Shares).

●      ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
